Here’s What You’ll Need:

You want to prep your apples by washing them, then peeling them before cutting into quarters. Drop the apples into the pot and add a little water before bringing to a boil. Don’t forget to stir continuously.

When the apples are ready you can use either a food processor or a potato masher to mash them into your desired sauce texture. The sugar and the lemon juice are added before moving on to the simple water bath canning process.
