Doing laundry is everyone’s favorite household chore… ummmmmmm not! LOL. However, it is what it is, just like doing the dishes, someone has to do it. The next time you throw your clothes in the dryer you should try these diy reusable lavender dryer bags. Trust me, you’ll thank me.
Keeping things clean around the homestead is becoming easier and cheaper with all these diy household cleaning tips, I’ve collected from the internet. For example, these dryer bags only require a few minutes of your time and you can easily make one or two bags at a time. The best part is that you can reuse each bag at least 10 times.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- cotton muslin bags
- dried lavender
- measuring cup
- yarn or string
- sewing supplies
- scrap fabric squares
- small funnel (optional)
There’s two ways to make these bags. The first one uses already made cotton muslin bags whilst the other one you have to actually sew your own bags. I have tried both methods and personally I prefer to use the muslin bags although it’s a little more expensive.
With the bag issue sorted out, all that’s left to do is to fill them up. Then depending on the type of bag used, you either sew the bag or use the string to tie it up. Voila, your bags are ready for use in your dryer.
